Joaquin Phoenix, "The Master"
Runner-up: Denis Lavant, "Holy Motors"

-Joaquin Phoenix was snubbed for some previous movies and he has the brightest chance to win the Best Actor  this year provided the AMPAS forgets his silly comments.

Best Actress
Jennifer Lawrence, "Silver Linings Playbook" and Emmanuelle Riva, "Amour" (tie)

-Well deserved!

Best Supporting Actor
Dwight Henry, "Beasts of the Southern Wild"
(Runner-up: Christoph Waltz, "Django Unchained")

- Congratulations to Dwight Henry but seeing Christolph Waltz getting nominated for Django Unchained over Leonardo DiCaprio does worry me a bit.

Best Supporting Actress
Amy Adams, "The Master"(Runner-up: Anne Hathaway, "Les Miserables")

- First win for Adams  from the critics circle.She  needs more wins if she wants her Oscar buzz alive.
