Games Of Thrones Season 2 Trailer
Here is the trailer of GOT season 2.It is beautifully narrated by the eunuch Varys. If Tyrion Lannister(Peter Dinklage) is your favourite character in season 1,Season 2 Tyrion can be said as the main character and Peter Dinklage could create the magic again in this season,he is set to win more awards.I love that we get to see Carice van Houten who plays the red priest in the beginning of the trailer and Sansa(Sophie Turner) getting tortured by Joffrey(Jack Gleeson) will surely make those Sansa haters to have a change of heart.Jack Gleeson is really good as I do feel very angry and hatred whenever I see him appear onscreen.Check out the trailer and leave some comments on what you think of it!

Friday's Best Actor
Bryce Dallas Howard
This week I would like to highlight Bryce Dallas Howard performance as Hilly in the film adaptation of the novel The Help by Kathryn Stockett. While Viola Davis,Octavia Spencer and Jessica Chastain got most the attention from the critics and audience,I felt Bryce's performance was the best thing in the film. She can really play a mean character while being charismatic at the same time. And her southern accent was at top notch too.It was her superb portrayal of Hilly made the comedy scene between Minny worked.
Eiko Ishioka Dies at 73
Eiko Ishioka ,Academy Award winning costume designer had passed away. She won the Oscar for Best Costume Design for her work in Bram's Stoker Dracula. Her costume designs always had a touch of Japanese or Asian element and always have a other worldly feel to it.Her superb work was last seen in Tarsem Singh Immortals ,which I felt deserved another nomination.Too bad she got snubbed as I felt the costumes of the Gods in Immortals are probably the most futuristic and elegant costumes especially the headpiece which were so unique.Check out some of her beautiful ,brilliant work in films.
Her work can be seen in the upcoming film Mirror Mirror another Tarsem Singh film.May her soul rest in peace.

A Feast For Crows-review
Just like the Clash of the Kings,A Feast For Crows is the aftermath of the surprising events A Storm Of Swords.Just as the previous book I'll break the plot through characters.
Samwell Tarly

Ser Jaime Lannister
After knowing Cercei affairs through his brother,Jaime starts to distant himself from his sister and plans to ensure Tommen is separated for his mother so that he will not be like his older brother Jofferey who is cruel and unkind.Jaime suggested Cercei to agree on Tommen's marriage with Magaery Tyrell in order to gain the alliance of the Tyrells.Jime realise his Cercei never really loves him and will never acknowledge him as her husband as she wants the throne more.He also realises that Cercei used him just like King Robert uses Cercei to overcome his grief for Lyanna.Cercei being paranoid that everyone is against her, sends Jaime away to go and claim Riverrun.Having taken an oath to Catelyn Stark that he would not go against the Starks and Tully,Jaime was reluctant and finally manages to get Riverrun without a battle or spill of blood. He saved Edmure Tully from being hanged and eventually convinces Edmure to yield.Jaime realises winter has arrived.
Lady Brienne Of Tarth
Lady Brienne continues he search for Sansa Stark as Jaime had commanded her.On her way she is joined by Podrick Payne ,Tyrion Lannister's squire.During her quest she learns The Hound was seen with a Stark girl.Assuming that it would be Sansa since both of them flee from King's Landing ,she decides to search for the Hound who is said to join the Brotherhood Without Banners(BWB) which has a new leader called Lady Stoneheart. However through the elder brother, she learns that it was Arya Stark with the Hound and the Hound is already dead.Realising Arya is also alive,Brienne and her companions decides to stay in a Inn since it was getting dark. She found Gendry who looks so much like King Renly and realise Gendry is a possible King Robert's bastard. Before she could tell Gendry she is interrupted by Bitter,an outlaw and was injured by him. When she wakes up,she realise Gendry along with the BWB managed to kill Bitter and his followers and she is to see Lady Stoneheart. As she saw Lady Stoneheart, she realises it is Catelyn Stark who is decides to hang Brienne thinking Brienne had betrayed her. When she is hanged, she screams a word and it is unclear whether she dies or not.
Sansa Stark
Still posing as Petyr daughter Alayane Stone,Sansa remains in Vale until her "father" decides to move them to the Gates Of The Moon(which is at the base of the Eyrie) as the weather is getting cold and worse. She befriends Mya Stone(King Robert's bastard) and look after the sickly cousin, the Lord of Eyrie.Petyr Baelish informs her whether she likes it or not Sansa is a player of the games of thrones and he is planning for her to get marry to Lord Harry, the heir of Eyrie and through the marriage she would get back Winterfell and the Northman loyalty.

Iron Islands
After the death of King Balon,a Kingsmoot is carried out to choose the king.At the Kingsmoot,Euron Greyjoy is selected as the king as he promises the audience that they will have Westeros as he had a horn that could command Dragons and he had heard of the this Dragon Queen(Danaerys) .
Cercei Lannister
Cercei becomes paranoid that everyone is against her she appoints whom she believes as the council which includes Qyburn who learns the human body by dissecting victims while they are alive. She kills the High Septon as she realises he knew her relationship with Jaime. She is continuously troubled by an event which happened while she was still a maid that a Maegi informed her that she will be Queen of Westeros one day and after the dead of three kings,a younger and beautiful Queen will be the end of her ruling and when she is drowned by grief she will be killed by the hands of her younger brother.Cercei assumes this young Queen is the young bride of King Tommen and it would be Tyrion who would end her.So she decides to frame Margaery by accusing Margaery and her cousins to be be no longer maiden(virgin) and are having an affair with the knights as she realise the maidenhead of highborn ladies are broken by horse ridding which Margaery is fond of.She sets up Osney Kettleback to take the blame to have an affair with the young Queen by seducing him.Margaery is imprisoned at the temple to be brought for a trial. While visiting Margaery,Cercei found out that the new High Septon by whipping Osney managed to extract the truth about Cercei and imprisoned Cercei under the chargers of murder and fraught.Through Qyburn,Cercei sends a letter to Jaime ,begging for help and that she loved him.
Jaime Lannister
Jaime receives the letter from his sister.Instead of answering it,he burned the letter as though he never received the letter.
Dorne
Ariane Martell, the daughter of the Prince Doran wants to make Princess Myrcella as the Queen and fight against Cercei and King Tommen as a revenge for the death of her uncle and Elia(the wife of Rhaegar,Danaerys and Viserys brother) who had been killed by Lannisters men and realising and wanting a women to rule(Myrcella is sent to Dorne to marry Prince Tristane by Cercei and Tyrion when he was the Kings Hand in order to win the Dornish alliance to King Tommen). Her plan comes to a end when her father finds out the plan and caught them red handed. She opens up to her father that she knew her father wants his son Prince Quentyn to be his heir and she is sick of treated or loved less just because she is woman and tired of being idle when they should be avenging for their death ones.Prince Doran reveals that he had always loved her and he wanted his son to be Prince of Dorne because he wants her to become the Queen of Westeros by marrying the Viserys the dragon. He also reveals that Quentyn is going to bring dragon back to Westeros and the House of Dorne will have its revenge.
Review
In A Feast For Crows, lots of secret is revealed and the fantasy element in the books gets more heavy with prophecies. George R.R.Martin manages to introduce new characters like Ariane with ease into the complex plot and make it memorable in a short time.In this novel we do get to see Cercei's cunning nature. While it is only implied that Cercei is cunning and cold in the first three books as we only got to see her having affair and trying to hide the nature of her children. However in this book,Cercei true colours are shown as the reader realises she is longing for power, the Throne and finally some respect and acceptance .We get to see why she is so mean to Tyrion and her insecurities makes her more human.I'm very impressed with the character of Jaime Lannister again in this novel. The readers manages to learn more about him especially that he wants his children and not the throne. We get to see more actions that shows Jaime is a man with honor. He is probably one of my favourite character in the series right now. It's a women world in this particular novel. We get to see more of the women players of game of thrones through the character Ariane,Cercei and Asha Greyjoy. These three women knew their hindrance being a woman in Westeros but care less and decides to set their own fate.Like all brilliant authors,George R.R.Martin manages to create subtle moment that means a lot to the fans such as Sansa thinking of her brother Jon and Jaime defending Brienne. The novel raises many questions such as Sandor Clegane's death(which I hope that Sandor is not dead ) and the possibility of Jeyne is actually pregnant and is switched by her family(I hope this to be true) but most likely not as Robb having a son doesnt affect battle of the iron throne or at least until the baby grows up .Another great thing about the series,no one seems to be the person they claim to be.
I'm looking forward to see Sansa finally playing the games of thrones. Her character is beautifully developed in the span of three chapters. We get to see her changing into a women, getting brave and even to flirt for her own advantage and her final chapter surely will make the reader yearning more, even the Sansa haters out there. She had been using a courtesy as her armour and that is why she manages to survive even after being so close to the enemies.I want her to get aggressive in the future books and finishes Petyr who is probably the most cunning character in the book.I do feel that Sansa would be one of the character with the best character development at the end as she is with Petyr now, either she would be brainwashed by him and becomes manipulative or gain the wits to finish him by playing his own game.I'm also looking forward for Daenery's chapters and Tyrion whereabouts. It would be great if George R.R. Martin writes a POV of Gendry and Jeyne Stark.Overall I enjoyed the books just as I enjoyed the previous books.

Pure Talent-Amy Adams
This week in the Pure Talent Section,I would like to dedicate it to one of my favourite contemporary actress Amy Adams by discussing some of her films.
I first noticed Amy in the film Enchanted where she played the naive princess who gets thrown into the real world from a fairy tale. She is really good in being bubbly and naive.Plus her singing in the film is also equally good.It could have been silly if done by another actress but Amy Adams manages to nail the part well.
Then she played Sister James in the dramatic film Doubt. In contrast of the stereotypical nun usually portrayed in films,Sister James was a quiet and soft.Amy Adams again shines playing Sister James and even though she is in the scene with Meryl Streep, her performance is memorable. The last scene between Streep and Amy was probably one of the best scene of that particular year.
Her indie flick Sunshine Cleaning showed her in a different light. While maintaining her charms, she played a role of a single mother who cleans the crime scene with her sister (Emily Blunt). As usual she was great playing a woman who wants a better life for her son and at the same time having some insecurities when comparing her life with her successful classmates.
She played Julie Powell in the film Julie and Julia and teaming up again with Meryl Streep.Although Meryl Streep did steal the whole movie with her amazing portrayal of Julia Child, Amy's vulnerable performance as the writer who idolises Julia Child did stand out too.
In the film The Fighter, for the first time she played a tough, rough, loud woman. Her role is easy to relate as she plays the college dropout who supports her boyfriend no matter what and realises how the his family is .Unlike her previous roles,Amy played a bad ass chick .The scene where Charlene(Adams) confront Micky's mom(Melissa Leo) and his sisters in the porch is my favourite.
She is set to play Lois Lane in upcoming Man Of Steel opposite Hnery Cavill and The Masters opposite Philip Seymour Hoffman.

84th Academy Awards -nominees(prediction)
Here are my final predictions which will be announce on the 24th January. All the nominees are arranged in the order that most likely to win to least to win.I'm have not yet watch the Iran film A Separation but decided to include it for the critical acclaim it received.I do feel this year ,Michelle Williams would be a surprise winner and if Jean Dujardin being a unknown French actor could win the Globes for his brilliant performance in The Artist,I reckon he could do it again in the Oscars and be the male version of Marion Cotillard.Check it out and let me know what do think of it and your own predictions in the comment section!

Pure Talent-Zooey Deschanel
Zooey Deschanel
This week I would like to dedicate the quirky Zooey Deschanel in the Pure Talent section who just got her first Golden Globe nomination one week ago.She is a triple threat. She sings, she acts in film and has TV shows. She has her own style whether in acting and fashion which makes her so different than the normal Hollywood actress.I first saw Zooey playing a very small role in the film Failure To Launch. She plays the friend of the main character who is annoyed by the sound made by the mockingbird and decides to buy a gun to kill it.It was a very small role but together with her chemistry with Justin Bartha and comedic timing ,she was the best thing in the film.
She then played the teacher in the film Bridge to Terrabithia whom Josh Hutcherson crushes for and eventually decide to ignore his friend and eventually accidentally causing her friend to drown.Again it was a small role and she gave a descent performance.
Then came the film 500 Days Of Summer, where she played the lead role opposite the charming Joseph Gordon Levitt. She excels playing Summer, a role of a girl who doesn't believe in love and doesn't want to be anyone girlfriend.Again her chemistry with Joseph Gordon Levitt was superb and although playing the heart breaker,it is hard to hate her.She is too likable.
She gained more exposure playing the awkward Jessie in the sitcom New Girl which earn her a Golden Globe nod.Although some episode does look silly than funny, she manages to give a funny performance every episode.
I'm looking forward to see her film where she would be portraying Janis Joplin. She definitely has voice almost similar to Joplin and we knew she is equally different and unique as Joplin.

69th Golden Globes Awards - Winners
Best Motion Picture-Drama: The Descendants
Best Motion Picture-Comedy or Musical: The Artist
-I love the dog..It should have won it's own award.Michel Hazanavicius and team took a bold risk filming a silent film with unknown cast and the risk had been paid well!!
Best Director:Martin Scorsese,Hugo
-I was expecting the director of The Artist to win but Martin is equally deserving and his effort to remind us some of the best old films should be applauded.
Best Actor in a Motion Picture-Drama: George Clooney,The Descendants
-Clooney as expected.Again I still felt there were other deserving actors in the category(Fassbender) than him.
Best Actress in a Motion Picture-Drama:Meryl Streep,The Iron Lady
-Yes!!!!! Meryl Streep won!!The most talented actress of our generation. She did the British accent so well and portrayed Margaret Thatcher brilliantly.Meryl Streep should have won years back instead of Sandra Bullock. And now I'm almost 95% sure its gonna be Michelle Williams winning the Oscars.
Best Actor in a Motion Picture-Musical or Comedy: Jean Dujardin ,The Artist
-Probably one of the strongest performance of the year and he didn't use any voice!!To speak the truth ,he is the most deserving to win the Best Actor statue for the Oscars besides Fassbender. I love his speech too.
Best Actress in a Motion Picture-Musical or Comedy: Michelle Williams,My Week With Marilyn
-WELL DESERVED..She was amazing as Marilyn Monroe..I guess no one could portray Marilyn's pain better than Williams.Again she could be a surprise winner in the Oscars.
Best Supporting Actor in Motion Picture: Christopher Plummers,Beginners
-Not a big surprise.
Best Supporting Actress in a Motion Picture: Octavia Spencer,The Help
-Too bad Jessica Chastain didn't win as her body of work last year was astounding. However I do like Octavia Spencer in The Help.
Best Screenplay:Woody Allen,Midnight In Paris
-Too bad he was absent .Midnight In Paris is his best film to date.
Best Original Score in a Motion Picture :Ludovic Bource,The Artist
-I've said this million times, the music of The Artist played a big role in making the film interesting.
Best Original Song in a Motion Picture :Masterpiece,W.E.
-Surprise win.The whole nominees in this category was a bit crazy as the Muppets was absent.
Best Animated Feature Film:The Adventures of Tintin
-loved that Spielberg mentioned Andy Serkis!
Best Foreign Film: A Separation
-I don't get his speech but speaking about the film,it has been said numerous times that it is the best film of 2011
Best TV Series -Drama:Homeland

Best TV Series-Comedy or Musical: Modern Family
Best Actor TV-Drama:Kelsey Grammer,Boss

-Haven't watch any episodes of Homeland but I loved her performance Temple Grandin. So I'm pretty sure she would be also great in Homeland.

Best Supporting Actor in a TV series,Miniseries or TV film:Peter Dinklage,Games Of Thrones
-Yay!!Peter Dinklage performance as the Imp was funny, sarcastic and shocking, all at the same time.

Best Miniseries or TV Movie: Downton Abbey
-I loved Downton Abbey mainly for Maggie Smith. She is amazing.
Best Actor Miniseries or TV Movie:Idris Elba,Luther
-If Dominic West was nominated for Appropriate Adult ,for sure he would have won. However,Idris Elba was seriously good in Luther

69th Golden Globes Winners-Prediction
Here are my final prediction of the Golden Globes Awards which will take place this Sunday. So leave some comments on what you thought of my prediction and maybe let me know of yours.
Best Motion Picture-Drama: Hugo
-Its one of my favourite Martin Scorsese film and with a name like Martin Scorsese attached to it,Hugo has the brightest chance. The Descendants could be a surprise winner.
Best Motion Picture- Musical or Comedy: The Artist
-Do we need to argue this,The Artist is one of a kind film last year and the only film that could give some competition to The Artist would be Midnight in Paris which is also very original.
Best Actor-Drama: George Clooney,The Descendants
-Everyone loves Clooney.Period.However,I still feel there are more deserving actors than him who did a marvellous job last year and the fact he had already won two golden globes doesn't help me.Brad Pitt is the only actor that could give Clooney some competition but if Michael Fassbender wins(,I would be shouting in joy.
Best Actress-Drama: Meryl Streep,The Iron Lady
-Its gonna be between Meryl Streep or Viola Davis but I'm putting my money on Streep.Plus I'm still bothered that Rooney Mara and Glenn Close is nominated when Elizabeth Olsen and Kirsten Dunst weren't.
Best Actor-Musical or Comedy: Jean Dujardin,The Artist
-The easiest category to predict.Jean Dujardin was amazing in the Artist. The role he played could looked stupid if played by another actor since no voice is used.
Best Actress- Musical or Comedy: Michelle Williams,My Week With Marilyn
- Again there is no big competition for Michelle Williams in this category.Although she doesn't look anything like Marilyn Monroe, she played her brilliantly.Michelle Williams could be the surprise winner for the Oscars when everyone is talking about Davis and Streep for the Best Actress category.
Best Supporting Actor: Christopher Plummers,Beginners
-Many actors manage to give a brilliant performance last year and its too bad only five is the limit of nominees.Plummer being a veteran and did a amazing job in Beginners should win.If not him Albert Brooks is my other choice.
Best Supporting Actress: Jessica Chastain,The Help
-She won most of critics awards last year and had a wonderful year with amazing different roles. It would be sad if she didn't win.The only person in my opinion could snatch the golden statue from her is Octavia Spencer who also did a good job in The Help.
Best Director: Michel Hazanavicius,The Artist
-He manage to direct a good silent film without boring the audience. If not him Martin Scorsese is my next guess.
Best Screenplay: Woody Allen,Midnight in Paris
-Like most of Woody Allens films,it is original and fresh.
Best Original Score: Ludovic Bource,The Artist
Best Original Song: The Living Proof,The Help
Best Animated Feature Film: Rango
Best Foreign Film: A Separation
-It has been winning all the awards ,so it my predicted winner unless they decide to honor Jolie.

Friday's Best Actor
Winona Ryder
In the film adaptation of the novel The Age of Innocence directed by Martin Scorsese,Winona Ryder played the innocent May Welland who loves trusts and love a lawyer(Daniel Day Lewis) sincerely. She exudes innocence through her expression even though when you realise she is manipulating her husband and she knew about the her husband other love.No wonder Winona was nominated for Best Supporting Actress for this role.My favourite scene was the scene where she places her head on her husband lap and announced that she is pregnant. She was so good in that scene that makes the audience wonder whether she is really pregnant or not.
She is a very unique actress and its a sad thing she doesn't do many films. However she will appearing in a film opposite James Franco about a paranoid splay director.

Best Actress: Viola Davis,The Help
-She was great in Doubt in the given few minutes..imagine when you give her a character in a film like The Help,of course she was brilliant in The Help.I feel they should stop nominating Meryl Streep and maybe name the Best Actress category after her,she is too good when it comes to acting!
Best Supporting Actor: Christopher Plummer,The Beginners
-Its official that its gonna be between the closeted gay guy(Christopher Plummer) against the cold hearted mafia(Albert Brooks) for the Oscar
Best Supporting Actress: Octavia Spencer,The Help

-It has been sweeping all the critics awards..So not a big surprise but well deserving!

Best Ensemble: The Help
-Viola Davis,Jessica Chastain,Emma Stone,Octavia Spencer and Bryce Dallas Howard(which many failed to appreciate her brilliant performance) all did a great job.

-Octavia could be winning her first Oscar in her first major role .However I was hoping for Chastain who had a brilliant year in many films especially Take Shelter,The Tree Of Life and The Help.
Best Young Performer: Thomas Horn,Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close
-Seriously I was hoping for Saoirse Ronan to win..she kicked butt in Hanna

Pure Talent-Emile Hirsch
Emile Hirsch
This week ,I wanna discuss the young actor Emile Hirsch and his two films in the Pure Talent section.Emile Hirsch (26 years old) is well known for the staring sole in the film Into The Wild playing Alexander Supertramp in the Sean Penn directorial. Then came his Oscar snub role Into The Wild directed by Sean Penn opposite Kristen Stewart,Marcia Gay Harden,Jenna Malone and more.He played a guy who has a different take on life when he decided to leave everything behind to go and explore life in the wilderness. Those who watch the film could see the work he had done to suit the role.Yes,I'm talking about the final half of the film where he sheds like 40 pounds .I have said this before that his death scene is probably one of the best and moving death scene I have seen in movies. He gave a mature performance throughout the film.
He is set to appear as Penelope Cruz son in the film Venuto al Mondo, Savages directed by Oliver Stone and in the film Killer Joe.

A Storms of Swords- review
A Storm Of Swords by George R.R.Martin is the third book of the song of ice and fire series. It has the most shocking death of two major character, reveals the most deadliest villain of the bunch(not the Lannisters), a wedding that one never had expected to happen, and finally the death of three kings. This is why I'm so hoked to these books, all the characters are not so good or so evil.
I'll break the plot through characters the characters.
Bran Stark
-believed to be dead,Bran and his companions travel to the north to meet the three eyed crow and Bran starts to learn his warg abilities that he could slip into his wolf Summer when he is dreaming .
Jon Snow
-Joining the wildlings as a spy,Jon Snow had no other way to prove his false loyalty with the Mance Ryder, the kings of wildlings by sleeping with Ygriette who he starts to have some affection towards her.Realising his loyalty towards the watch and since he had managed to extract enough information on the wildlings,Jon Snow escapes with the help of Summer(Bran in his warg form)
Catelyn Stark
-Catelyn released Jaime and made a deal with him to release hr daughters Sansa and Arya. She ordered Brienne of Tarth to escort Jaime to Kings Landing and bring back her daughters. This action angered the some of the Lords and decides to leave Robb who had been winning all the battle he had participated.Robb marrying Jeyne Westerling after falling for her kind heart made things worse as he had broken the promises he had given to Wlader Frey that he will take his daughter as his Queen. This made both Robb and Catleyn to arrange the marriage of Catelyn's brother the Lord of Riverrun in Twins,Edmure Tully with one of Wlader Frey daughters as an apology and to strengten their alliance.Robb also names Jon as his heir, although being not being his father trueborn(Jon is a bastard) son due to his love to his brother jon and felt Jon is a Stark no matter what is his last name.
Sansa Stark
-Still hold as a hostage ,Sansa was glad that her engagement with King Jofferey had broken and Joffrey is now engaged to Margaery Tyrell ,the widow of Renly Baretheon in order to achieve their alliance. However her happiness was not for long as she was forced to marry the dwarf,Tyrion Lannister. She finally gain some courage on their wedding night and said to Tyrion that she doesnt desire him.Tyrion was devastated and the fact she was so young for him,he said he will not touch her until she wants him to.
Arya Stark
-Being caught by the Brotherhood Without Banners(BWB),she along with Gendry is being brought to Riverrun to her mother and brother in order to collect some ransom..but on the way ,she was kidnapped and by Sandor Clegane(also known as the Hound) and brought to the twins where Robb and his mother will be attending the wedding of their uncle which will be later known as the Red Wedding.
Davos Seaworth
-A knight serving for Stannis Barratheon, losing the battle at kings landing in the previous book,he was washed away to a nearby island where he saw heard the voices of the Gods angry at him for serving Stannis who had been using sorcery and black magic to win the war through MelissandreWhen he returns to Stannis, he decides to save Stannis from Mellisandre and for now just go along with her plans and strike her when the time is right.Using Melissandre black magic,Stannis prayed for three deaths, three of the kings,Joffrey Baratheon,Robb Stark and Balon Greyjoy.Balon Greyjoy was the first king to die.
Jaime Lannister
-On his way back to King's Landing,Jaime confessed to Brienne that he killed the king only because he knew the war was over, the king had lost and intended to burn the whole city including its citizen so that no one will get the city. That gained him the name Kingslayer and always seen as an oath breaker and a man with no honor but in truth he just wanted to save the citizen of the of King's Landing and the fact the king was so cruel. He also confessed that the only wrong he did was pushing Bran from the window and confessed he didn't send the man who was hired to kill Bran when he was crippled.
Catelyn Stark
-During the wedding ,the Freys betrays Robb and his army and breaks the guest right(any man or woman who had eaten under the host roof will be given safety until they leave).Robb is stabbed and Catelyn begs for Lord Frey to leave him and kill her as he is the only son remaining to her.Lord Bolton also betrays Robb and stabs him to the heart and killing him.Robb's head was cut off and his direwolf grey Wind's head is sewn to his body.Catelyn along with Robbs army was killed.
Arya Stark
-reaching the wedding, she found men fighting and dying. When she realised Robb was death she start to run into the castle wanted to see if that is true but is hit and stopped by the Hound in order to save her life.Through her warg form, she found that her mother was dead too and killed two man who tortured her and the people in Harrenhaal in a bar fight.she leaves the injured Hound and takes a ship to bravosi land realising all her family members had died and only her brother Jon is left for her.
Sansa Stark
-On the wedding day for King Jofferey,Sansa had devised a plan with Dontos(who decided to help her as he owed her) to escape from King's Landing far from the war and the Imp to somewhere else as she realised all her family had died.On his wedding day ,King Jofferey choked in his wine and dies in front of everyone.Sansa taking this a a chance, she escaped from King's Landing and then realised Dontos was hired by Petyr or Littlefinger(the guy who betrayed her father in the Games of Thrones). He promises her that he gonna bring her to Eyrie to her aunt Lysa who he will be marrying. At Eyrie ,Sansa finds that it was Petyr that asked Lysa to kill her husband Jon and asked Lysa to write a letter that Lannister killed Jon Arryn and making the Lanisters and Stark to fight.
Catelyn Stark
-Catelyn is resurrected using black magic by the BWB,and wants to avenge her son's death.
Jon Snow
-He reached the wall and fought against the wildlings and becomes the Commander of the Nights Watch.
Review
Before I start ,I have to say that AStorm Of Swords is probably the best book in the series. What I liked in this book is that its packed with surprises. No one can predict the events that happens in the book. There are three weddings that comes out of nowhere and each three weddings gives a deep impact differently.
In this book we get to see the development of the Lannisters. The reader gets to see Tyrion's selfishness through some events and get some grasp on why Cersei is a Alpha bitch.
The character development of Jaime, the Kingslayer is equally surprising.Readers manages to see softer side of him and starts to pity him.As the book progresses, the readers realises that the Lannisters are not the dangerous player of this game of thrones. We are introduced to the guy who was always quiet and cunning ,the master plan of all the stuff that had happened from the start of the first book.Just like playing a chess ,he had brilliantly used people to remove his adversaries for the throne.
SPOILER:The Red Wedding is the most shocking event after Ned's execution.I never thought George R.R.Martin would kill Robb as he is the only Stark who still haven't a POV.Robb dying is so sad because just like his father he was a honourable man and was so righteous. To die of betrayal was what made me so angry.I wouldn't be that disturbed if he died during war or fighting and seeing him die through his mothers eye was so painful. The part where Robb names Jon as his heir is moving.Robb gave Jon something no one gave not even his father Ned gave what Robb gave.Robb gave him blood status and name him a Stark.
Jon Snow's arc finally gets more interesting.Lots of funny charismatic characters are introduced in his arc.The usage of giants, necromancy and warg are introduced subtly and creates a a mature magical world.
Finally the part where everyone was waiting since the first book,Joffrey gets what he deserves in a cruel way in his wedding day.Although I was longing to see him dead, just like Sansa I was not sure whether to be happy or sad when this happens. This was a kid who was raised by the worst parents you could find and was constantly seeking for acceptance just like his parents. So kudos to George for making me feeling confused for the most hated character in ASOIAF.

Friday's Best Actor
Kate Winslet
In the film adaptation of the novel Little Children by Tom Perotta saw Kate Winslet playing a mom in a failing marriage where her husbands starts addicted to porn and finding some peace by starting an affair with her a man(Patrick Wilson) a stay at home father.Kate Winslet as usual was great playing the character who get lost due to her failing marriage and tries to overcome it by affair and sex until to a point forgetting her own daughter. We do feel the pain and pity this character Sarah played Kate and in a weird way ,even though we realise what Sarah is doing is wrong, we want the best for her.Out of the topic:Jennifer Connelly was equally good playing Patrick Wilson wife.

Pure Talent-Christopher Nolan
Christopher Nolan
Last night, I managed to watch two Nolan's film Inception and The Prestige. I had watched Inception numerous times and The Prestige few times, still the films felt fresh and exciting. So I have decided to talk about those films in this Pure Talent section.Christopher Nolan is great in infusing dark tones subtly in all his movies.Unlike Tim Burtons(one of my favourite film maker) films where you see dark/comedy tones shown by make-ups and costumes,Nolan's film dark tones are incorporated in the film through its musical score and the lighting.I don't know how to start and explain my awe with the film Inception. It is a brilliant film. The plot of the film where it deals on a team trying to plant an idea in the subconscious mind of the target through sharing dreams is so clever and original and technical quality of the film is damn good. The visual effects is one of the many major pluses of the film. All dream sequence were amazing especially the the scene where Cobb(Leo DiCaprio) explains Ariadne(Ellen Page) about how the dream invasion takes place. The soundtrack of the film, especially the ship sound throughout the film and the musical score whenever Mrs.Cobb(Marion Cotillard) appears conveys melancholy.Talking about the cast,it is probably the best ensemble in a film of all time.Everyone was superb in their roles and I felt all suited them so well especially Marion Cotillard.Playing the antagonist of the film ,she was beyond great in this film. She looks so beautiful and it's like she stepped out from a black and white film with the Audrey Hepburn look. You feel her torment and love every time she begs Leonardo to stay and is quite scary when she gets angry.I really loved the scene when Ellen Page enters the suite on the night Marion Cotillard suicides and the actual suicide scene. The hallway fight scene involving Joesph Gordon Levitt is equally exciting. No wonder it received 8 nominations for the Oscars and 4 win.
The Prestige another Christopher Nolan masterpiece based on the novel of the same name is about two magicians obsessed to get fame and beating each other. The plot of the film and the measures the characters would go in order to achieve recognition shocks the audience and still resonates even after one watches the film. Its a film that reminds you Hugh Jackman is a good actor and another proof Christian Bale is the most underrated actor(at that time before winning for the Fighter) of our generation. Its both the Rebbecca Hall and Scarlett Johannson performances that caught my attention. Both strong female character with vulnerability, although only Rebbcca Hall's character succumbs to the pressure .I loved the scene where Scarlett Johanson says to Borden that he is cold and so similar to Angier who chooses goals and recognition over loved ones. Its shocking that it was not nominated for any Oscars that year.
He is attached with the Man of Steel project staring Henry Cavilland Amy Adams, as a producer and writer and to be directed by Zack Snyder another director with some magic touch in his films and the sequel of the The Dark Knight,The Dark Knight Rises one of the most expected film of mine and of many in 2012.
