-Well deserved. His portrayal of the beloved president was very authentic and Joaquin Phoenix silly comments costs him his first award.
BEST ACTRESS:
Rachel Weisz (The Deep Blue Sea)
- I found the Deep Blue Sea was bit dragging and slow but the performance of Rachel Weisz as the depressive women in an affair,Tom Hiddleston as her passionate lover to be the plus point and the amazing cinematography during the slow motioned scenes to be the plus points.

-Another well deserved win if you consider his body of work in the year 2012.However if you're gonna judge on a film ,I still feel Garrett Hedlund for On The Road the best performance of this year
